The M.S. Degree in Agriscience Technology degree will focus on developing graduates who are flexible, innovative, and able to solve real world problems using the latest technological advances. Graduates must be adept at applying integrative analytical skills, incorporating technology into their research programs, and being capable of working in diverse groups. This will be achieved through a multi-disciplinary approach within the School of Agriculture utilizing faculty with expertise in animal science, horticulture, soil science, geospatial technology, engineering, and agribusiness.
The curriculum for the M.S. in Agriscience Technology emphasizes sustainable agriculture, environmental policy and issues in agriculture, and smart and digital farming technology in a broad context of agriculture.
· Thesis option – 24 credit hours of coursework and 6 credit hours of thesis research
· Non-thesis option – 33 credit hours of coursework.
Coursework includes core and electives and will be a combination of online and on-ground instructions depending on the nature of the course content.
