Course Description

Graduate-level internship placement with a professional organization and supervisor, recommended to be taken after 12 hours of graduate coursework have been completed. In consultation with their supervisor and the course instructor, students will develop goals and keep a daily log of their work experience. A final written report and a final oral presentation are not required. Designed for students in thesis option in all concentrations of the Professional Science Master’s degree program. Students in other graduate programs can take the course with instructor permission. May be taken for 1.0, 2.0, or 3.0 credit hours depending on the amount of work required by the internship; however, 3.0 credit hours of ESS 6900 are required for the PSM degree requirements.
